Getting Ready to Take Orders from Your New Site
There is so much to do in setting up your site to accept orders.We are in the process of completely revamping our own Learner Driver Web Site which provides services and resources for Drivers in Ireland and the UK.
This will include a fully e-commerce enabled system to not only look after the advance and remote payments of Lessons but also the sale of our own ebooks which are in process and also a full range of Books, CDRoms, and DVD's. We will use this blog to show you what has to be done and what the cost will be in terms of outlay and time and to chart the successful implementation of the system we choose.
Pay Pal looks a front runner and is found on thousands of sites across the Internet and would apperr to be an affordable system, particualrly for Newbies starting off. A Merchant Account at your Bank is likely to be a considerably more costly exercise but would probably be required if your Business grows to a large size in time.
We are also looking at
1shoppingcart.com which is used by thousands of web site owners. It has a bundle of features including Autorespnders which are an essential part of the successful web enterprise.
